Tibetan Restrictions

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12673461

The 2008 Beijing Olympics was a proud moment for Chinese all over the world. However, in the midst of preparing for the Olympics, Tibet experienced a massive wave of anti-Chinese protests. I can remember watching CCTV and hearing the media anchor woman blaming this sudden sentiment on the Dalai Lama. Now, two years later, the Chinese government wants to restrict foreign tourists from entering Tibet, citing overcrowding and cold weather as causes. I believe the Chinese government is afraid of Tibetans receiving more sympathy from foreigners.
