Three more children have died while 35 others are in hospitals after drinking milk tainted by nitrite. Nitrite is a chemical used to cure meat, so why on earth would it be in milk?! Apparently, to make the protein content of milk appear higher, nitrite was added. This ongoing case reflects how poorly decisions are being made, and governments, not just China, should be more aware of the toxicity of chemicals that are being added to the food we consume.

I have heard about this situation. Everytime we go to teh Asian supermarkets my father will check where the produtc comes from, because he claims the Chinese products are filled with poison and that I will die if I consume anything made from China. You cuold say my father is a big supporter of locally grown items.
